Attend the 29th edition

The Hawaiki Nui Va’a takes place every year, during the first week of school vacations in October. It is a Va’a race with six rowers, on the high seas and in the lagoon, over 128 km long, divided into three legs, between the Leeward Islands (Huahine, Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora Bora). There are no crew changes on this water “Marathon”, but substitutions are possible before each leg departure. The teams are divided into nine categories : Seniors and Veterans Men (three legs), Seniors and Veterans Women, Juniors Men, Juniors Girls (one leg on Raiatea), Cadets, Minimes Girls and Boys, Benjamins and Benjamins, Para Va’a, Mixed, Companies (one leg on Bora Bora).
