AIR TAHITI NUI PADDLE ROYAL RACE
Attend to the 5th edition.
Air Tahiti Nui Paddle Royal Race is a convivial event that takes place each year for 5 years now in the most beutiful Polynesian landscapes. This year we have chosen the beautiful site of the Pointe Vénus Beach of Mahina Commune in Tahiti on Saturday, March 30th, 2019. This event brings together stand up paddle (SUP), Prone and Giant SUP (up to 6 rowers on a board) races. In addition to the Elite and Novice races, a race for children from 6 to 11, “Tama Race”, is set up to educate the younger generation in this sport. We try to reward all these young participants.
These races (except the Giant SUP) are registred in the championship of French Polynesia organized by Tahitian Surfing Federation.
Novelty 2019, the Air Tahiti Nui Paddle Royal Race is on the calendar of the european championship of the Euro Tour. In addition, we are opening a new category which is the inflatable SUP. Athletes who wish to row in inflatable SUP can do it in Elite or Novice.
Each year, the race offers a small village of local businesses and/or craftsmen, a start of each race to the sound of the toere (Polynesian dance group), a refreshment room available on the site, a mini concert in the afternoon, a space of bathing for all visitors and even a stand that will allow you to win many prizes.
