Activities and Fun at the Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa

Rangiroa, where the hotel resides, is the largest atoll in The Islands of Tahiti.  Whether you want to relax on the beach or around the infinity pool, scuba diving, snorkeling or simply riding bikes, you can satisfy all your desires when staying at the Hotel Kia Ora. The Hotel Kia Ora’s team will help you to choose the most exciting activities to make your stay at the Hotel Kia Ora the most entertaining and fulfilling.

Relaxing at the Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa

You can relax by reading a book in a hammock by the beach in the shade of the palm trees.  The hammocks are ideally located along the beach in the shade of palm trees so you can read in peace and quiet. No one will disturb you except for the occasional white doves that fly above you.

Relaxing in the infinity pool creates the feeling of floating in the lagoon beneath the endless sky, or feel free to enjoy the translucent and the abundant marine life of Rangiroa. One of the Hotel Kia Ora’s pool boys will provide you with the snorkeling equipment you need for a pleasant swim.

Watch the Dolphins

About 10 minutes from the hotel is the Tiputa Pass, a natural channel about 200 meters wide between Avatoru Islet – where the hotel is located – and Tiputa Islet.

Manta Rays, Eagle Rays, Napoleon fish, Hammerhead sharks and many other varieties of sharks and tropical fish travel through this pass, attracted by the plankton generated.

The highlight of the area is, of course, the wild dolphins that grandly jump out of the water. At sunset, when the currents are the strongest, you can watch the dolphins jumping and playing in the surrounding waves!
