Four days in Bora Bora

The most beautiful lagoon in the world, and in the middle of it, the majestic Mount Otemanu rises up on the mythical island of Bora Bora. Any vacation in the “Pearl of the Pacific” is an unforgettable experience. Here’s our suggested itinerary for a four day break.

Arrive at Bora Bora airport and transfer to your accommodation. Relax on Matira Beach or explore the lagoon by kayak. End the day with a sunset cruise. The next day go on an ATV guided tour & stopping every now and then at scenic viewpoints, visit the cultural sites and WWII remains around Vaitape. Enjoy dinner at a waterfront restaurant. On the third day go snorkeling in coral gardens or take a lagoon tour. Enjoy a private motu lunch. Pamper yourself with a spa session in the afternoon. Finally tour the island by bike, helicopter or car. Take your last dip in the best lagoon of the world before checking out of your hotel and head back to Tahiti.

Getting there and getting around

It is advisable to reserve your arrival flight to Tahiti-Faa’a as early as possible, to be sure of a seat at the best price. Once you’ve arrived, you can take an internal flight or a ferry to Bora Bora. On the island, you can hire a car, motor scooter, bike or boat to get around and visit the different beauty spots. Transport by boat is necessary for many of the hotels which are situated on the island’s small islets, called motu.
