As with most of the atolls in the Tuamotu Islands, meals are usually included in the price of your accommodation. You can also eat in some of the island’s small hotel structures and snackbars. Full-day excursions usually include a meal in their price. The atoll has a varied and healthy cuisine based on seafood and local produce. Don’t hesitate to try the freshly caught ‘fish of the day’ accompanied with fresh tropical fruit. The restaurants of Fakarava will be able to satisfy even the most demanding of palates.
